Summer was pleasant at Mount Washington in 2009, in more ways than one.

So this is your first time to Mount Washington Alpine Resort, and once you reach the parking lot you’re not sure where to go to pick up a day pass or rent equipment.

Skiers and boarders will notice improved access to the slopes off the peak of Mount Washington Alpine Resort this winter.

This is a pinnacle year for the Vancouver Island Biathlon Club, which for several years has been building world-class infrastructure near Raven Lodge at Mount Washington Alpine Resort.

Tourism Mount Washington has elected a new Board for 2009-2010. Rick Gibson, President of Bear Lodge and Treetops Strata Corps, has been named President and Chairman of the Board. Peter Foreman, President of the Deer Lodge Strata Corp is Vice-President and Vice-Chair.

Mount Washington Alpine Resort isn’t the only entity on the mountain preparing to host guests prior to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler.
