The Sasquatch, said to inhabit Mount Washington and the nearby Vancouver Island Mountain Range, has ventured farther afield. That is the finding of zoologists who have scoured the mountain in search of evidence.

The Mount Washington Freestyle Club has been operating up at Mount Washington Alpine Resort for seven years, and this year hopes to become a permanent fixture with the creation of a mogul site.

Mount Washington Alpine Resort will host an International Paralympic Committee (IPC) World Cup event from March 8-14, 2009. It is the second World Cup Event in three years for the Resort, which hosted its first in 2007.
